We like to find places to walk when we are in NC, not just around the campground.We walked at a park and near the Haw river (on different days.Thought I would share the beauty here.Native Americans used this V to help make catching fish easier.~XOP~

Since we get time to ourselves while A is in day care we find other things to do to keep busy. For instance I have finished binding 2 quilts, made a quilt top and have almost finished the hand work on my Quite Contrary quilt top. I've also finished reading 5 books. This day we went to Swepsonville and found a park on the Haw river. Beautiful day to go for a walk along the river.My Batman
read moreLast week we went for a 4 mile hike along the Haw river. We saw TONS of turtles. I think most of my photos were of turtles!! The best find was a swamp lily growing directly in the middle of our path. Someone hiking from the opposite direction we were going told us to keep going and we would see it.
